Alternative Resolution of Consumer Disputes

In compliance with law no. 144/2015 of 8 September, we would like to inform our clients that in the event of a dispute, they may resort to an arbitration centre to resolve it:

What does alternative dispute resolution consist of?

This resolution is a faster and often more efficient way for consumers to get help from official organisations that help resolve problems, thus avoiding recourse to the courts. These organisations act as mediators between the company and the consumer with a view to resolving the conflict. Resolution by this means is also usually cheaper than going to court.

We therefore inform our customers who wish to exercise their right to complain that they have official and impartial means at their disposal to resolve the issue(s) under discussion.

Official website of the European Union

The European Union has developed an online site for consumers to complain about possible disputes with companies.

If you don't like our proposals for resolving the problem under discussion, you can go to the following website: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home2.show&lng=PT
